Catherman-Copenhaver


Mr. and Mrs. Mark Catherman of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly J. Catherman, to Ryan S. Copenhaver, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jere Copenhaver of Hershey, Pa.

Miss Catherman is a 1998 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and received a bachelor of science degree in education with a minor in English literature from Shippensburg University in 2002. She is employed by Washington County Board of Education as a seventh-grade language teacher at Springfield Middle School in Williamsport.

Mr. Copenhaver is a 1998 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School in Hummelstown, Pa., and received a business degree in management science and information systems from Penn State University in 2002. He is employed by MI Home Products as a sales representative in Maryland and Virginia.

A Dec. 18 wedding is planned.




Grossnickle-Wadel


Terry and Debbie Grossnickle of Williamsport announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Kate Grossnickle, to Eric Alan Wadel, son of Larry and Vonnie Wadel of Chambersburg, Pa.

Miss Grossnickle is a graduate of Williamsport High School and Towson University. She is employed by Washington County Board of Education as a teacher at Clear Spring High School.

Mr. Wadel is a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School and Shippensburg University. He is employed with the Gettysburg Area School District as a teacher at Gettysburg Area High School.

A July 10 wedding is planned.




Myers-Henry


John and Cindy Myers of Williamsport announce the engagement of their daughter, Tara E. Myers, to Isaac R. Henry, son of Randy and Chris Henry of Maugansville.

Miss Myers is a 2001 graduate of Clear Spring High School and plans to receive a degree in veterinary medical technology from Wilson College in May. She is employed at Greencastle Veterinary Hospital in Greencastle, Pa.

Mr. Henry is a 1999 graduate of Shalom Christian Academy and received a degree in criminal justice from Hagerstown Community College in 2002. He is employed by R.M. Henry & Sons Construction.

A July wedding is planned.




Green-Gearhart


Abby Lynne Green and Craig Douglas Gearhart announce their engagement.

Ms. Green is the daughter of Donald and Susie Green of Walkersville, Md. She is a graduate of Walkersville High School and received a bachelor of business administration degree from James Madison University. She is co-owner of an Ace Hardware store near Westminster, Md.

Mr. Gearhart is the son of Douglas and Janice Gearhart of Clear Spring. He is a graduate of Clear Spring High School and Frostburg State University. He is employed with Verizon telephone company.

A Sept. 18 wedding is planned.




Startzman-Pereschuk


Mr. and Mrs. Michael Startzman and Mr. and Mrs. Earle Pereschuk Sr. announce the engagement of their children, Crystal Startzman to Earle Pereschuk Jr.

Miss Startzman is a 1999 graduate of Washington County Technical High School. She is employed with Aerotek Staffing in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Mr. Pereschuk is a 1999 graduate of Washington County Technical High School. He is employed with The Boys and Girls Club in Frederick, Md.

A June 17, 2006, wedding is planned.




Williams-Myers


Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Williams of Inwood, W.Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Jenel Williams, to Daniel Howard Myers of Clear Spring, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Myers of Williamsport.

Miss Williams plans to receive a bachelor's degree from Shepherd College in May. She is employed as a manager at Timberland in Hagerstown.

Mr. Myers attended Cedarville University. He is a project manager with Maryland Millwork in Hagerstown.

A June wedding is planned.




Smith-Hayes


Judy and Harvey Smith of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Judith Angalee Smith, to Joel Travis Hayes, son of Kathy Pack and Ray Pack, both of Hagerstown and Randy and Lorraine Hayes of Forest Hill, Md.

Miss Smith is a 2002 graduate of Smithsburg High School. She is employed by the U.S. Census Bureau in Hagerstown.

Mr. Hayes attended South Hagerstown High School. He is employed with Sealy Mattress in Williamsport.

A June 2005 wedding is planned.




Long-Harne


Tammy Sue Long and Edward James Harne announce their engagement.

Ms. Long is the daughter of Judith Moats and Charles Moats, both of Hagerstown. She is employed as a child care provider with School Age Child Care in Hagerstown.

Mr. Harne is the son of Donna Miller and Harold Harne Sr., both of Hagers-town. He is employed as a vehicle customizer with Truck-N-Van in Hagerstown.

An August wedding is planned.




Palmer-Colburn


Mr. and Mrs. Rande Lee Colburn announce the engagement of their son, Rande Lee Colburn Jr., to Heather Elaine Palmer.

Ms. Palmer plans to receive a degree in elementary education from Union College in Lincoln, Neb., in May.

Mr. Colburn also plans to graduate from Union College in May with a degree in business.
