CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A winter festival featuring ice sculptures and ice carving begins Thursday, Jan. 29.
The main attraction will be the carving of the Statue of Liberty, a dragon, Red Riding Hood and other sculptures by professional ice carvers using chain saws, propane torches and hand tools.
A chili cook-off will be at the Capitol Theatre Center from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31. IceFest continues through Sunday, Feb. 1.
