Habitat for Humanity elects officers

At its January board meeting, Habitat for Humanity of Washington County installed its officers and directors for 2004.

Serving as officers for the Board of Directors are Robert Goetz, president; Richard Kidd, vice president; David Fisher, treasurer; and Jackie Wenerd, secretary.

The other board members are Mike Baylor, Eileen Beck, William Bulla, Ruth Anne Callaham, Carroll Earp, Dr. Mitesh Kothari, Syed Qadir, Steve Reynolds, the Rev. Rodney Rhodes, Bruce Robison, Andrea Rowland, Florence Taylor-Block, Lynn Williams, Steve White and Stephen Zoretich.

Since 1994, Habitat for Humanity of Washington County, a volunteer-based organization, has built 17 homes through the self-help housing program. Habitat builds simple, decent and affordable homes in partnership with those in need. Families purchase the houses at no profit through interest-free loans.
