Area Roundup - Willison's layup lifts Panthers

FREDERICK, Md. - Jeff Willison had 28 points, including the game-winning layup, to lead Hancock to a 69-67 victory over Maryland School for the Deaf on Thursday.

Willison also had 20 rebounds and four blocks for the Panthers (5-10), while Brad Spielman had 21 points and six assists.

Catoctin 60, Williamsport 50


THURMONT, Md. - John Tumulty scored 19 points as the Cougars defeated Williamsport in an MVAL Antietam matchup.

Kyle Heyser had 12 points, Derrick Thompson tallied 11 and Ben Rose added 10 for Catoctin.

Will Roney led all scorers with 25 points and Ben Jordan added 17 for the Wildcats (7-5).

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Emily McCoy scored 20 points and had 11 rebounds for Berkeley Springs as the Indians defeated Clear Spring.

Danielle Fox added 14 points, seven assists and five steals, while Amanda Willard had five assists and J.J. Jenkins had four steals for the Indians (4-7).

Megan Blickenstaff led Clear Spring (0-10) with 14 points and five rebounds, while Leigh Ann Bearden grabbed seven boards.

FREDERICK, Md. - Connie Reginaldi scored 18 points for New Life Christian.

Jessie Mumaw added 13 points and 12 rebounds for New Life (4-7, 3-4).
