Fuller-Lawson

Jill M. Fuller and Richard W. Lawson announce their engagement.

Ms. Fuller is the daughter of Lucille Fuller of Clinton, Miss., and Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Fuller of Star, Miss. She is a 1990 graduate of McLaurin High School in Star, received a bachelor of arts degree in English from Mississippi College in 1995 and a master of education degree from William Carey College in 1998. She is employed by Washington County Board of Education as an English teacher at Smithsburg High School.

Mr. Lawson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Lawson of Big Pool. He is a 1990 graduate of Clear Spring High School, received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Shippensburg University in 1994 and a master of business administration degree from Frostburg State University in 1998. He is a wholesale pricing manager at First Data Merchant Services in Hagerstown.

A May 1 wedding at Park Head United Methodist Church in Big Pool is planned.

Barnes-Anderson

Matt Anderson and Kim Barnes announce their engagement.

Ms. Barnes is the daughter of Lennis and Leesa Barnes of Waynesboro, Pa. She received a bachelor's degree in human resources management from Shippensburg University in 2002. She is employed by World Kitchen Inc., in Chambersburg, Pa., as a human resources generalist.

Mr. Anderson is the son of Billy and JeDonne Anderson of Falling Waters, W.Va. He received a bachelor's degree in human resources management from Frostburg State University in 2002. He is employed as a human resources coordinator with The Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group in Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.

An April 17 wedding is planned.

Horvat-Brown

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Horvat of Sabillasville, Md., announce the engagement of their daughter, Misty Autumn Horvat, to Kevin Wayne Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. David A. Brown of Waynesboro, Pa.

Miss Horvat is a 1999 graduate of Walkersville Christian Family School in Thurmont, Md. She is employed as a medicine-aide at Country Meadows Assisted Living in Frederick, Md.

Mr. Brown is a 2001 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School in Camden, Del. He is employed as a lead truss framer at NVR in Thurmont.

A May 29 wedding is planned.
