Willison, Spielman lead Hancock

Hancock 63, Forbes Road 60


HANCOCK - Jeff Willison had 15 points, 16 rebounds and six blocks to lead Hancock to a 63-60 win over Forbes Road on Monday night.

Brad Spielman had 15 points, six steals and eight assists while Josh Hendershot scored 12 points for the Panthers (4-7).

Forbes Road falls to 7-5.

Bishop Walsh 70, Grace Academy 44


Steven Anoroso scored 21 points and Chris Hendershot grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Bishop Walsh (10-5) over Grace Academy.

Jack Sharkey had 18 points and 15 rebounds and Chris Bruenner had 10 points for Grace (3-6).




GIRLS BASKETBALL



Southern Fulton 56 Northern Bedford 53


LOYSBURG, Pa. - Candace Bard had 19 points, six rebounds and three steals to lead Southern Fulton to an overtime win over Northern Bedford in Sideling Hill League action.

Jessie Wigfield had 11 points and 13 rebounds for Southern Fulton (12-2, 7-1).

Northern Bedford falls to 5-7 (3-6).

Everett 54, McConnellsburg 21


EVERETT, Pa. - Kara Carmack had seven rebounds for McConnellsburg (4-9, 3-6), which turned the ball over 17 times in the Sideling Hill League loss to Everett (4-3 SHL).

Bishop Walsh 46, Hancock 36


CUMBERLAND, Md. - Dana Beaver led Hancock with 12 points and seven rebounds in the Panthers' loss to Bishop Walsh.

Jenifer Willison grabbed 14 rebounds and Kris Creek had six assists for Hancock (4-6).




MEN'S BASKETBALL



HCC 59, Allegheny 58


PITTSBURGH - Terrell Kittelberger and Andre Brooks each scored 16 points for Hagerstown Community College as the Hawks (12-3) earned a road win against Allegheny.

Shepherd 73, West Liberty 62


WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. - Mark Jennings led all scorers with 17 points for Shepherd College as the Rams capitalized on a poor shooting night by West Liberty (1-9, 0-2).

Brady Catlett had 12 points and 14 rebounds, Chad Myers had 14 points, Danley Shank had 10 points and six rebounds and Esosa Imoisili had eight boards and four blocks for the Rams (5-5, 2-1).




WOMEN'S BASKETBALL



West Liberty 57, Shepherd 39


WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. - Down by two at halftime, Shepherd College shot 3-for-35 from the floor in the second half as West Liberty defeated the Rams in WVIAC action.

Cassie Murray led Shepherd (7-6, 3-2 WVIAC) with 16 points and 11 rebounds while Latoya Fisher added 11 rebounds for the Rams.




FROSH BOYS BASKETBALL



Goretti 51, Clear Spring 23: Logan Bolinger had 14 points and Ben Allencherry had 12 for St. Maria Goretti (8-0). Adam Mills scored 10 points for Clear Spring.
