At the meeting Greencastle Borough Council President Barbara Bock and Vice President Harold Duffey were re-elected to their offices for 2004 and 2005.

Mayor Robert "Red" Pensinger swore in council members Don Coldsmith, Duffey and Gerald Pool.

Several students from Greencastle-Antrim Senior High School observed the meeting.

The Council also approved closing the borough office the day after Thanksgiving, as business is slow that day.

Duffey said the personnel committee had polled borough employees, and they were willing to exchange a family sick day for the day off.

The Council also approved a Land Development Plan for Conococheague Grace Brethren Church on Wayburn Street. The proposed new church building would be in Antrim Township, with part of the parking area in the borough.
