Pavilion reservations accepted in Hagerstown

The City of Hagerstown's Department of Parks and Recreation will begin accepting reservations for use of the city's pavilions on Friday.

The reservations are on a first-come first-serve basis, according to a written statement issued by Public Information Manager Karen Giffin.

The fee for reserving a pavilion is $45 for city residents and $65 for noncity residents, according to the statement.

Reservations may be made in person at 51 W. Memorial Blvd., Hagerstown. Telephone reservations will be accepted but held for five days only.

The following information will be needed when making reservations:

- Date desired

- Pavilion (If a softball field is needed, there is an additional fee of $15.)

- Number in party

- Name and daytime telephone number

The fee to reserve the City Park Band Shell is $10 per use for nonprofit organizations and $50 per use for all other users, according to the statement.


The park season runs May through September.
