Pa. women injured in head-on collision

QUINCY, Pa. - Two women were injured Saturday evening in a head-on collision on Anthony Highway in Quincy Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Police said the accident happened at 6:34 p.m. when a 1997 Plymouth driven by Angela Marrero, 25, address unavailable, of Mont Alto, Pa., crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by Jennifer Poper, 19, address unavailable, of Greencastle, Pa.

Marrero was taken to Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center and was listed in good condition Sunday night, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Poper was treated at Waynesboro (Pa.) Hospital and released, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

A passenger in Poper's vehicle, 1-year-old Austin Redcay of Greencastle, was uninjured, according to police.

Tools are reported stolen from Pa. home

ROXBURY, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of two chainsaws and a Makita table saw Thursday from a Lurgan Township home.


Police said the tools were stolen between 2:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. from a home on the 11000 block of Roxbury Road.
