BIG POOL - A man died early Monday when his car drifted off Interstate 70 and hit a guardrail, Maryland State Police said.
Aaron Albertus Martin, 27, formerly of Lonaconing, Md., was driving west on I-70 near Big Pool when his a Buick Century went off the left side of the road and hit a guardrail at about 1 a.m.
Martin, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from his car, police said.
He was taken to the Washington County Hospital's trauma center, where he died, police said.
Police were not able to determine Martin's most recent address.
