WILLIAMSPORT - The Williamsport High School Sophisti'Cats' presented their annual holiday show on Dec. 6. The show was titled "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year."

The caroling section highlighted the Sophisti'Cats' singing carols, a cappella, in Old English costumes. The repertoire included many of Robert Shaw's carol arrangements, including "Toura, Loura, Loura," "Fum, Fum, Fum" and "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel." More familiar carols such as "Deck the Halls," "Carol of the Bells" and "What Child is This" also were included in that portion of the program.

Senior Sophisti'Cats' Caitlin Flagg, Patrick Bowers, David Ritchey and Colt Smith were featured in solos throughout the program.

Part two of the show featured secular standards in a mini show titled "Santa, This is Your Life." Favorite Christmas characters, including Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Mrs. Claus and an assortment of elves arrived to "roast the man with the most." In the toast to Santa Claus, the Sophisti'Cats' sang and danced to holiday favorites. Even Elvis and several of the Peanuts characters arrived to join in the fun.
