Perez-Spinney


Curt Spinney and Janet Perez announce their engagement.

Ms. Perez, of Brooklyn, N.Y., is the daughter of Vilma and Eliud Perez of Tampa, Fla. She is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic University of Atlanta with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. She is employed by the Georgia Department of Transportation in Atlanta.

Mr. Spinney, of Atlanta, is the son of Carolyn Coakley Spinney of Lake Park, Ga., and the late Robert Spinney. He is the grandson of Mary Coakley of Williamsport and the late Guy Coakley. He received a bachelor's degree in computer science from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y., and two masters' degrees - one in operations management and one in manufacturing engineering - from Brooklyn Polytechnic University in Brooklyn. He is employed as a senior analyst by Fourth Generation Software Solutions.

A December wedding is planned.




Groner-Espenlaub


Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth A. Groner of Annapolis announce the engagement of their daughter, Suzanne Marie Groner, to Travis James Espenlaub, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carlan F. Espenlaub of Greensburg, Pa., formerly of Hagerstown.

Miss Groner is a 1990 graduate of Notre Dame Prep and received a bachelor of science degree from Villa Julie College in 1995. She is a pharmaceutical representative at McNeil Pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Espenlaub is a 1988 graduate of North Hagers-town High School, received a bachelor of arts degree from Gettysburg College in 1992 and is pursuing a master's degree in technology management at University of Maryland University College. He is employed as an implementation manager at Online Resources in McLean, Va.

A December wedding is planned.




Ferguson-Stotelmyer


Mr. and Mrs. John H. Ferguson of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie R. Ferguson, to Scott A. Stotelmyer, son of Eunice and Ed Plank of Hagerstown and Rick and Jo Stotelmyer of Smithsburg.

Ms. Ferguson is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a bachelor of science degree in education. She is employed as a history teacher at Washington County Technical High School.

Mr. Stotelmyer is a 1996 graduate of Boonsboro High School. He is employed by Bank One in Frederick, Md.

A May 15 wedding is planned.
