Kaylee L. Burkett


Kaylee Lindsey Burkett, infant, of 527 Lynnehaven, Hagerstown, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Nov. 13, 2003, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Jason Burkett and Elisha Boward of Hagerstown.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one sister, Taylor R. Boward of Hagerstown; maternal grandmother, Della Kline of Smithsburg; maternal grandfather, Charles Boward Jr. of Hagerstown; paternal grandmother, Sandy Sorenson of Boonsboro; aunts; uncles; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Todd Burkett.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home in Hagerstown. The Rev. Ted D. Higby will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.




Annie M. Stouffer


QUINCY, Pa. - Annie Martin Stouffer, 82, of Quincy United Methodist Home, and formerly of 9188 Gap Road, Waynesboro, Pa., died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at the home.

Born March 3, 1921, in South Mountain, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Grant and Mary Null Martin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Stouffer Sr., in 1993. They were married Jan. 27, 1943.

She attended school in South Mountain.

Prior to her marriage, she worked at South Mountain Restoration Center.

She attended Glen Furney Assembly of God Church in Waynesboro.

She is survived by two daughters, Miriam A. Rinker of Mechanicsburg, Pa. and Victoria K. Freeman of Waynesboro; two sons, Arthur W. Stouffer Jr. of Sandlin, Texas and Carl E. Stouffer of State Line, Pa.; one sister, Marie Feigley of Hagerstown; three brothers, Charles Martin of Chambersburg, Pa., Harold Martin and Grant Martin, both of Waynesboro; eight grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; one stepgreat-great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by eight sisters, Ruth Kauffman, Ethel Byers, Rosetta Hollingsworth, Betty Wetzel, Velma Wetzel, Zella Miller, Virgie Nunemaker, and Catherine Martin; and three brothers, Clyde Martin, Carl Martin, and Ray Martin.

Services will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home in Waynesboro. The Rev. Wayne L. Kuhns will officiate.

Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Parklawn Memorial Garden in Chambersburg.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Charles R. Campbell


Charles Robert Campbell, 89, of Hagerstown, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, at Julia Manor Health Care Center.

Born Nov. 10, 1914, in Westminster, Md., he was the son of the late Charles Henry and Virgie Myrtle Stover Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lanamore Campbell.

He attended Frederick School for the Deaf.

He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 694 of Hagerstown.

He is survived by two daughters, Jean C. Dunn of Hagerstown and Donna C. Dumire of Williamsport; four grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery. The Rev. J. Norman Mayer will officiate.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St. in Hagerstown.

Robert L. Suders Sr.


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Robert L. Suders Sr., 42, of 53 N. Federal St., died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at his home.

Born Aug. 21, 1961, in York, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry R. Suders and Starr Leisher Suders.

He was a 1979 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.

He was a self-employed carpenter in Chambersburg.

He was a member of Freedom in Christ Church in Chambersburg.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy L. Mills Suders; one son, Robert L. Suders Jr. of Chambersburg; one sister, Susan L. Neil of Shippensburg, Pa.; two brothers, Harry R. Suders Jr. of El Paso, Texas and William B. Suders of Mercersburg, Pa.; his stepmother, Betty M. Suders of Chambersburg; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home in Chambersburg. The Rev. John Pogue will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Chambersburg.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.

Robert D. Stafford


GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Robert D. Stafford, 70, of 11526 Monn Drive, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at Baltimore Veterans Hospital.

Born April 9, 1933, in Fernsdale, Md., he was the son of the late Reid and Blanche Zimmons Stafford.

He was a 1950 graduate of Clifton Park High School.
