Car reported stolen recovered in Pa.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police recovered a car reported stolen in Hagerstown earlier this year.

Police recovered a 1997 Plymouth Neon at 1435 Brechbill Road in Hamilton Township on Thursday.

Police did not say when the car was reported stolen.

Hagerstown City Police are investigating.

Md. man charged with burglary, assault

FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick Police Department arrested a Frederick man in connection with a burglary Thursday at 122 Auburn Place.

Police charged Garrich Sprinkle, 27, of 90 Waverly Drive, Apt. FF30, with two counts of first-degree burglary, and one count each of second-degree assault, trespassing, theft less than $500, destruction of property and resisting arrest.


Police allege Sprinkle forced his way into the house through a window just after 9 a.m. Police allege Sprinkle pushed the victim, with whom he was involved in a domestic dispute Wednesday, and held onto her hair. The victim, who was not identified by police, ran out of the residence to a neighbor's house, police said.

Police said Sprinkle was in possession of some of the victim's belongings and was uncooperative when officers arrived at the scene to take him into custody.

Man charged after parking lot altercation

HAMILTON TWP., Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police at Chambersburg, Pa., charged a Chambersburg man with harassment following an altercation in a Hamilton Township parking area.

Police charged Steven E. Adkins, of Chambersburg, with harassment.

He was charged after Christopher M. Lehman, also of Chambersburg, was struck Wednesday evening in a parking lot off Pennsylvania 995.

Police allege Adkins punched Lehman, who was talking to Adkins' wife, causing a minor mouth and tooth injury.
