Cecelia A. Kircher


MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Cecelia Ann Kircher, 60, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at City Hospital.

Born April 20, 1943, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Guy Albert and Georgia Braithwaite Smeigh.

She is survived by one daughter, Jackie Kackley of Martinsburg; two sons, Terry Kircher of Martinsburg and Donnie Kircher of Denver; and one sister, Mary Kitzmiller of Martinsburg.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Dolly McDermott.

Services and burial will be private.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.




Marie L. Beahm


CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Marie L. Beahm, 85, of Charles Town, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at her home.

Born Oct. 10, 1918, in Boyce, Va., she was the daughter of the late Freeland Lee and Laura Hawkins Lee.

She assisted her husband with the pastoring of Assembly of God churches in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.

She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Ranson, W.Va.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, the Rev. Arthur W. Beahm; four sons, Clyde Beahm and Norman Beahm, both of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., Fred Beahm of Long Beach, Calif., and the Rev. Ray Beahm of Athens, Greece; one brother, Douglas Lee of Sampson, Va.; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Assembly of God Church, Ranson. Pastor William Reed, the Revs. Ray Beahm, D. Wendel Cover and Wesley Beahm will officiate. Burial will be in Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town.

The family will receive friends today and Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town.




Bradley S. Hornbeck


MYERSVILLE, Md. - Bradley Stephen Hornbeck, 7, of Myersville, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Children's Hospital in Washington, D.C., after an extended illness.

Born Nov. 2, 1996, in Frederick, Md., he was the son of Brian Stephen and Loretta Lynn Winfield Hornbeck.

He attended Rock Creek School in Frederick.

He was a member of Harmony (Md.) Church of the Brethren.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Jonathan Hornbeck and Noah Hornbeck, both of Myersville; maternal grandparents, Jesse and Edna Ford Winfield of Myersville; paternal grandparents, Terry and Barbara Boss Hornbeck of Dailey, W.Va.; paternal great-grandmother, Leota Hornbeck of Valley Bend, W.Va.; two aunts; and two cousins.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Harmony Church of the Brethren. The Revs. Tracy L. Wiser and Randall S. Reid will officiate. Burial will be in Harmony Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Ricketts Funeral Home, Myersville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rock Creek School, 191 Waverly Drive, Frederick, MD 21701.




Rose M. Spencer


MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Rose Marie Spencer, 64, of Martinsburg, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at City Hospital.

Born Sept. 23, 1939, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Jean Scaldaferri.

She retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center as a nursing assistant.

She is survived by one daughter, Carla Spencer of Martinsburg; and her ex-husband, Carl Spencer.

Services and burial will be private.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.




Wanda J. Sharff


MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Wanda Jane Sharff, 78, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at her home.

Born Oct. 3, 1925, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Hattie Mae Whitacre Price.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry L. Sharff.

She was a member of Buck Hill Independent Bible Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Claudette L. Parsons of Glengary, W.Va., Jane L. Spencer of Martinsburg and Pattie M. Block of Falling Waters, W.Va.; one son, Richard H. Sharff Sr. of Inwood, W.Va.; one sister, A. Jeanette Erb of Stanford, N.C.; three brothers, Isaac L. Price of Inwood, George Price Sr. of Martinsburg and James Price of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Perry L. Sharff Jr.; one sister, Kathleen Walker; and three brothers, Calvin Price Jr., Glenville D. Price and Pickford P. Price.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at South Berkeley Chapel, Inwood. Pastor Cedric Sullivan will officiate. Burial will be in Old Stone Church Cemetery, Frederick County, Va.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.




Richard A. Myers


MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Retired Navy Chief Warrant Officer Richard Arvine Myers, 92, of 5641 Buchanan Trail West, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Washington County Hospital.

Born May 23, 1911, in Antrim Township, Pa., he was the son of the late Victor David and Susan Jane Gossard Myers.
