Flu shots offered around county

Flu vaccine clinics will be held at the following times and locations:

  • Nov. 13 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Hancock Community Center, 126 W. High St., Hancock

  • Nov. 15 from 8 to 11 a.m. at South Hagerstown High School, 1101 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown

  • Nov. 18 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Boonsboro American Legion, 710 N. Main St., Boonsboro

  • Nov. 21 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Martin Luther King Center, 141 W. North St., Hagerstown

  • Nov. 24 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Elks Club Lodge No. 378, 11603 Robinwood Drive, Hagerstown

  • Nov. 25 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Williamsport Redmen Lodge No. 84, 16129 Lappans Road, Williamsport


The clinics are for ages 18 years and older. There is a $10 donation for the shots, and Medicare can be billed, according to a written statement from the Washington County Health Department.

People who plan to bill Medicare should bring their Medicare cards.

Transportation will be available for people who are 60 and older by calling the Washington County Commission on Aging at 301-790-0275, ext. 221. Those seeking transportation will be required to give 48 hours notice.
