SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Aubrey Pfau had nine kills and Megan Bowman had eight to lead Shepherd to a 30-19, 30-17, 30-15 sweep of Ohio Valley in WVIAC action on Sunday afternoon.

Nicole Morgan had 34 assists for the Rams (14-8, 11-3), who have won five straight.

WILLIAMSPORT - Meggan McGill scored three goals - one assisted by Jessica Clingan, one unassisted and another on a penalty kick - for Williamsport (6-6-1, 4-2-1), while Catie Vancour had five saves for the shutout Saturday.


No. 4 Greencastle 2, Susq. Twp. 1

DILLSBURG, Pa. - With the game still tied 1-1 after four overtime periods, Greencastle topped Susquehanna Township 6-5 on penalty kicks Saturday in the Mid-Penn Class AA playoffs to clinch the conference's third seed in the District 3-AA tournament.


The Blue Devils (13-3-2) will play York County's top seed - still to be determined - in a first-round district game on Thursday at West York High School.

Williamsport Bears 20, Hagerstown Dolphins 0: Colby McCauley ran for a 61-yard TD for the Bears, while Jeff Ryan ran for a 1-yard TD, Joey Sutch scored from 2 yards out and Kyle Cunningham added a two-point kick.

Hagerstown Packers 45, Hagerstown Buccaneers 6: The Packers had TD receptions from Andrew Jarvis (55 yards), Michael McMillan (45 yards), Justin Gray (35 yards) and Steven Younker (5 yards) and TD runs from Gerald Tonsil (43 yards), James Jordan (9 yards) and Jovann Carter (1 yard), who added a pair of two-point kicks. Andrew Likely scored on a 1-yard run for the Bucs.

Smithsburg Patriots 45, Clear Spring Chargers 22: Joshua Edwards scored on runs of 13 and 73 yards and returned an interception 56 yards for a TD to lead the Patriots, while Ryan Bender scored on runs of 49 and 18 yards, Matthew Plumley had a 53-yard TD run, Theo Thomas ran for 40-yard TD run and a pair of extra points and Garrett Dick had an extra-point run. For the Chargers, Mike Braithwaite had a 76-yard TD run, Brad Kiracofe ran for a 19-yard score, Corey Morgan had a 9-yard TD run and Zach Leiter added two two-point kicks.

Hagerstown Giants 22, Hagerstown Redskins 14: Greg Pheabus ran for touchdowns of 60 and 23 yards and an extra point to pace the Giants, while Eric Bayman had a 54-yard TD run and an extra point and Daryl Priestley recorded a safety. For the Redskins, Brandon McLean had a 25-yard TD run, Damion Jackson scored on a 4-yard run and Adrian Adams had a two-point kick.

Hagerstown Steelers 7, Hagerstown Browns 6: T.J. Smith scored on a 4-yard run and Scott Bailey ran for the extra point for the Steelers. Deon Hart had a 29-yard TD run for the Browns.

Williamsport Vikings 19, Boonsboro Titans 6: Brett Allen had touchdown runs of 12 and 1 yards for the Vikings, while Bobby Ardinger ran for an extra point. Andrew Lowery had a 57-yard TD run for the Titans.

3rd-4th Grade Division

Hagerstown Chiefs 24, Hagerstown Eagles 12: Kevin White and Blake Lyles both had 36-yard TD runs for the Chiefs, while Trey Jesse scored on a 9-yard run and C.J. Davis on a 1-yard run. Edward Howlett rushed for more than 100 yards and 1-yard TD for the Eagles, while Austin Scott had a 52-yard TD run.

Clear Spring Cardinals 26, Boonsboro Colts 0: Nicholas Hill led the Cardinals with TD runs of 35, 30 and 2 yards, while Sam Elwood scored on a 15-yard run and Adam Mellott and David Evans both ran for extra points.
