Hollar-Jordan


Ken and Linda Hollar of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Ann Hollar, to Marcus Alan Jordan, son of Ruth Ann Jordan of Barrackville, W.Va., and Michael Jordan of Grant Town, W.Va.

Miss Hollar is a 2000 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and expects to receive a bachelor of arts degree in music education from West Virginia University in May.

Mr. Jordan is a 2000 graduate of North Marion High School in Farmington, W.Va., and expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in computer engineering from West Virginia University in May.

A July 31 wedding is planned.




Lanosz-Matthews


Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lanosz of Boonsboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Lanosz, to Daniel Charles Matthews, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Matthews of Cecilton, Md.

Ms. Lanosz is a 1999 graduate of Boonsboro High School, received a degree in psychology from Frostburg State University in 2002, and is pursuing a master's degree in elementary education at Wilmington College. She is employed by Cecil County Public Schools as a behavior interventionist at Elkton (Md.) Middle School.

Mr. Matthews is a 1997 graduate of Bohemia Manor High School and received a degree in mechanical engineering from University of Maryland at College Park in 2001. He is employed as a mechanical engineer at W.L. Gore & Associates in Elkton.

A June 12 wedding is planned.




Yount-Byler


Naomi Moriah Yount of Hagerstown and Ryan Neil Byler of Hanover, Pa., announce their engagement.

Miss Yount is the daughter of William and Dagmar Yount of Hagerstown. She is a 1998 graduate of Grace Academy in Hagerstown, attended Elim Bible Institute in Lima, N.Y., from 1998 to 1999, and received an associate's degree in paralegal studies from Hagerstown Business College in 2001. She is employed as a legal assistant at the law firm of Barton, Williams & Wilkinson P.A. in Hagerstown.

Mr. Byler is the son of Joseph D. Byler of Belleville, Pa., and Sharon D. Byler of Milroy, Pa. He is a 1992 graduate of Indian Valley High School in Lewistown, Pa., and received certification as a paramedic from Harrisburg Area Community College in Lancaster, Pa., in 2001. He is employed as a full-time paramedic with Hanover Hospital in Hanover.

A May 1 wedding is planned.




Collins-Eckert


Shannon L. Collins and George M. Eckert of Hagerstown announce their engagement.

Ms. Collins is the daughter of David and Heddy Beaver of Maugansville. She is a 1988 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. She is employed as a flight attendant for United Airlines, based in the Washington, D.C., area.

Mr. Eckert is the son of George Eckert of Charles Town, W.Va. and the late Louise Reeves of Greencastle, Pa. He is a 1988 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. He is the owner of Mountain Landscape and Design Inc. of Hagerstown.

A spring wedding is planned.




Henry-Snodderly


Mr. and Mrs. Craig M. Henry of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Elaine Henry, to Brenton David Snodderly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Snodderly of Hagerstown.

Miss Henry is a 1999 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and received two associate degrees from Hagers-town Community College. She is employed by ARC of Washington County as a life skills mentor.

Mr. Snodderly is a 1998 graduate of Clear Spring High School and received a bachelor of science degree in computers from Shepherd College. He is employed by FEMA as a systems administrator.

A June 2004 wedding is planned.




Musser-Grove


Jessica M. Musser and Darrin D. Grove announce their engagement.

Ms. Musser is the daughter of Carl and Wanda Musser of Ephrata, Pa. She is a 1998 graduate of Ephrata High School and received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Millersville University this year. She is employed as a registered nurse at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, Pa.

Mr. Grove is the son of Nevin and Svetta Grove of Greencastle, Pa. He is a 1999 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School and is majoring in music education at Millersville University. He is employed as a piano teacher at Reifsnyder's Pianos in Lancaster.

A May 15, 2004, wedding is planned.




Capone-Gordon


Paul and Jody Capone of Monrovia, Md., announce the engagement of their daughter, Tricia Capone, to Chad Gordon, son of Gary and Bonnie Gordon of Keedysville.

Ms. Capone is a graduate of Walkersville (Md.) High School and Westminster Beauty Academy. She is employed as a cosmetologist.

Mr. Gordon is a graduate of Boonsboro High School and Radford University. He is employed with the United States Park Police in Washington, D.C., as a federal law enforcement police officer.

A June 27 wedding is being planned.
