BRUNSWICK, Md. - Lamar Harris had 31 carries for 158 yards and a touchdown as North Hagerstown blanked Brunswick. Jarell Rodriquez also scored and Kent Worthington had an interception for the Hubs (4-2).

Coty Grove ran for 200 yards and two touchdowns to lead South Hagerstown (5-1). Mike Santiago, Mike Bryant, Mark Bryan and Alan Mahan also scored for the Rebels. Clear Spring falls to 1-5-1.
Smithsburg 28 Williamsport 12
WILLIAMSPORT - Andrew Bohan threw touchdown passes to Dustin Mitchell and Matt Thompson to lead Smithsburg over Williamsport. Troy Bradnor and Chad Brown each ran for a touchdown for Smithsburg (4-2).

BRUNSWICK, Md. - Marcus Scott had 205 rushing yards and scored four touchdowns as North remained unbeaten with a rout of Brunswick. Logan Kelso threw touchdown passes to Dee Mency and Mark Dattilio in the win. Vernon Valentine also ran for a score for the Hubs (6-0).
Smithsburg 20 Williamsport 6
WILLIAMSPORT - Vaughn Zimmerman rushed for 60 yards and caught a touchdown pass from Andrew Minella, but Williamsport fell to Smithsburg. Zimmerman also blocked a punt in the loss.

Shepherd 3, Salem 0
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W. Va. - Taylor Darnley had eight kills and 10 digs as Shepherd College swept Salem International in WVIAC action, 30-23, 20-24, 30-20.
Lauren Durbin also had eight kills, while Gen Wilson had 13 digs, Susanna Hill had 12 and Megan Bowman added 10 for the Rams (12-8, 9-3). Nicole Morgan had 37 assists in the win.

Cross country registration
The Mountain Express Youth Track and Field Club is hosting an open cross country meet at Smithsburg High School on Oct. 26. Registration starts at noon; course walk begins at 1 p.m. and races starts at 2. The cost is $3 for runners 14-and-under, $5 for all others.
