Guide to be published

WILLIAMSPORT - In an effort to increase public awareness, the Town of Williamsport recently gave CMC Communications Inc. approval to prepare a community information guide.

The guide, which will be published without using taxpayer money, is designed for residents and businesses to become more acquainted with the assets of the community.

There will be information on history, activities, services and general information about the town. An updated, full-color street map will highlight important points of interest.

After publication, the guide will be distributed through supporting sponsors. The town then will have an additional supply for distribution to new residents and welcome programs.
