CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Chambersburg man was killed and another person injured in a two-vehicle accident on Warm Spring Road in Hamilton Township Thursday afternoon, Franklin County Coroner Jeffrey R. Conner and Pennsylvania State Police said.

Donald K. Fields, 69, of 563 S. Fourth St., was pronounced dead at the scene of the 4:11 p.m. crash near the Angle Road intersection, Conner said.

Mary M. Urich, 75, of Camp Hill, Pa., a passenger in the Jeep Cherokee Fields was driving, was flown to Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center. Further information on her condition was unavailable Thursday night.

Conner said Fields was driving north on Warm Spring Road when a southbound full-sized Dodge pickup driven by Ronnie L. Hartman, 48, of Chambersburg, swerved to miss another vehicle and collided with the Jeep head-on. Hartman was pulling a trailer with his pickup, police said.
