Black Rock team remains tied for fifth

ORLANDO, Fla. - Black Rock club pro Dirk Schultz and amateur playing partners Rich Moyer, Denny Lowery, Scott Matheny and Larry Henry shot a 13-under par 59 Thursday and are tied with 10 other teams for fifth place in the gross division of the 20th annual Buick Scramble National Finals.

Black Rock's two-day total of 28-under par 116 is two shots behind the leaders from Eagle Mountain, in Brigham City, Utah. Three teams are tied one shot ahead of Black Rock.

The top 24 gross division teams after today's third round advance to the final round Sunday, to be televised on The Golf Channel.

The Waynesboro (Pa.) Country Club contingent, led by pro Rob Bostic with partners Chad Bricker, Jon Bricker, Brian Carroll and Ben Leonard, shot a 12-under 60 Thursday and were at 22-under 122, good for a tie for 52nd place.

In the net division, Musket Ridge, of Myersville, Md. (pro Mike Ahrnsbrak, amateurs Dave Sulley, Tim Ross, John Johnsont and Jim Sulk), shot a 17-under 55 for a two-day total of 29-under 115 and a tie for 18th place. Brown Deer, of Coralville, Iowa, leads with a 38-under 106.
