Car stolen, other vehicles vandalized

The Washington County Sheriff's Department received the following crime reports:

  • A 2002 Chrysler Sebring parked at 7F Oak Tree Lane was reported stolen Monday morning. The car has Maryland tags KEE302.

  • A passenger-side window was reported broken out of a 2002 GMC Savannah at Sharrett Inc., 10312 Auto Place. The van suffered about $300 in damages Monday morning.

  • A car and a house reportedly were broken into in the 12900 block of Rockdale Drive. Sometime before 5 a.m. Sunday, a Pontiac Grand Am's window was broken, causing $200 in damage, and clothing inside the home was damaged, causing a $400 loss.

  • A Pontiac's tires were reported slashed Sunday morning in front of 1831B Abbey Lane. The car suffered approximately $200 in damage.

  • Reported Friday afternoon at Williamsport High School, 5 Clifton Drive, a Chevrolet Cavalier received $2,000 in damage.

Appliances stolen in shed burglary

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a burglary at a Hamilton Township storage business between Aug. 30 and Monday.


Police said a shed rented by Dana S. Cunningham, 47, of Fort Loudon, Pa., was broken into at LCI Storage, 3745 Lincoln Way West. Several appliances were stolen, according to police.
