BOONSBORO - The second annual Cow Pie Bin-Go will be Saturday, Oct. 18, at Warrior Stadium.
Sponsored by the Boonsboro Athletic Boosters, the rural fund-raising event will begin immediately after the homecoming game between Boonsboro and Winter's Mill high schools.
Cow Pie Bin-Go consists of releasing a cow to roam freely on the 5,000 square yards of the Boonsboro Warriors football field to "deposit" at her discretion.
Each ticket holder will own one square yard per $10 ticket. Cash awards will be as follows:
- A direct cow pie hit will pay $5,000.
- The eight adjoining squares to the direct hit each will win $100.
- The farthest from the cow pie will win $1,000.
- $10 will be paid for every full minute the cow stands on the ticket holder's square.
For each $10 ticket, the holder is entitled to a barbecue sandwich courtesy of Dave Meyers' Carolina barbecue, and a soda.
