Technical schools plan open houses

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Franklin County Career and Technology Center will hold an open house Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The public will have an opportunity to meet and talk with students and faculty members from the career center's trade and the adult evening classes.

There will be an alumni meeting at 7 p.m. All graduates of the school are invited.




FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick County Career and Technology Center will host an open house/parent conference night Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. on the Frederick Community College campus.

Students will demonstrate their skills.

The technology education programs prepare students for occupations in agricultural and commercial metals technology, auto body, carpentry, electronics, fire rescue, construction, electricity, cosmetology, culinary arts, computers, finance, multimedia, CISCO computer networking, Oracle, heating/ventilation/air-conditioning and plumbing, professional health, nursing, landscaping, law enforcement, marketing, graphic communication and printing technology, fundamentals of Web design and masonry.
