MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Nate Sowers completed 16 of 25 passes for 295 yards and six touchdowns - three to Brandon Barrett - as Martinsburg rolled to a 69-14 victory over Hammond Friday night.

Barrett made TD grabs of 32, 37 and 6 yards and finished with seven catches for 117 yards. He has 58 touchdown receptions in his career, tops all-time in the state.

Mark Richmond caught three passes for 82 yards and two touchdowns, including a 56-yarder in the second quarter in which he broke several tackles.

Adrian Haskins caught three passes for 72 yards, including a 33-yard TD grab, for the Bulldogs (6-0). Brannon Hamilton rushed for 92 yards and a score, Carl Redman ran for 71 yards on five carries with a 28-yard touchdown, Kenny Hudson had a 45-yard TD run and D.J. Porter also scored on a 1-yard run.

Brunswick 49, Williamsport 12

BRUNSWICK, Md. - Danny Strakonsky threw three touchdown passes and finished with 73 passing yards to help Brunswick (2-3, 1-0) beat Williamsport (1-4, 0-2).

Brunswick finished with 295 rushing yards. Tyler Spurlock gained 125 yards on eight carries and ran for two touchdowns for the Railroaders. Alex Papanicolas added two touchdown runs and Dexter Henderson had 79 rushing yards on four carries, including a 50-yard burst.

Eric Zwilsky had a 2-yard run for Brunswick's first touchdown.

Neil Forsythe scored two rushing touchdowns for Williamsport (1-4, 0-2).

Fort Hill 22, Hedgesville 9

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Andre Pope scored two touchdowns, one on a 60-yard run, and Randy Rice added a 32-yard TD run as Fort Hill defeated Hedgesville.

Matt Yurish's 2-yard touhdown run was the only TD of the night for the Eagles (2-4, 0-2), who also got a 28-yard field goal from Eli Griffin.

Fort Hill (5-0, 2-0) outrushed Hedgesville, 255-80.

St. John's-Prospect Hall 47 Baltimore Lutheran 0

FREDERICK, Md. - Keith Ricca fired four touchdown passes and ran for another to help St. John's at Prospect Hall (3-2, 2-2 MIAA) beat Baltimore Lutheran (2-4, 0-3 MIAA).

Ricca threw for 351 of his 359 yards in the first half. Ricca completed 20 of 32 passes.

Rob Haynos made six catches for 129 yards, while John O'Donoghue added eight catches for 101 yards for the Vikings. Max Morris had five catches for 89 yards, including two TDs.

Randall Smedley had 72 yards on seven carries.

Cedar Cliff 16, Chambersburg 7

HIGHLAND PARK, Pa. - Len-Dale Lee rushed for 178 yards on 27 carries to help Cedar Cliff defeat Chambersburg.

The Trojans (1-5, 0-4) took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter on Brandon Garcia's 2-yard TD run.

Cedar Cliff (1-5, 1-4) scored 16 unanswered points for the win.

Big Spring 44, Waynesboro 0

NEWVILLE, Pa. - Big Spring accumulated 404 yards of total offense in a win over Waynesboro.

Corey Furman rushed for 187 yards on 17 carries and two touchdowns for Big Spring. Jason Leonard completed 7 of 15 passes for 99 yards for Big Spring. Leonard passed for a touchdown and rushed for one.

Sean Broderson gained 93 yards on 14 carries, while Nolan Smith had a 36-yard run for the Indians (0-6).

New Life 4, Broadfording 2

Scott Fricher had two goals and Andy Lytle added an assist for Broadfording (3-7) in a loss to New Life.

SJPH 3, Chapelgate 1

FREDERICK, Md. - Joe Potocek scored twice and Job Merkel added a goal for St. John's at Prospect Hall.

Kevin Isaak had two assists and Quinn Miller had one assist for the Vikings.

Grace Academy 3, CVCS 1

A.J. Serafini had a goal and an assist to lead Grace Academy over Cumberland Valley Christian School.

Jordan Hanft and Jonathan McNamee scored for the Knights. Jack Sharkey had 10 saves.


North 5, Boonsboro 1

Corrie Jones had two goals and an assist as North Hagerstown defeated Boonsboro.

Brenna Bacon had a goal and an assist, while Courtney Whorten and Becky Barnhart added goals for the Hubs (9-1). Brittany Whorten and Jess Watters had assists.

Sarah Hensley scored and Haley Burtner made 19 saves for the Warriors (4-4).

St. John's-PH 1, Severn 0

FREDERICK, Md. - Goalkeeper Lindsey Weaver made 14 saves and Kelly Spelman scored in double overtime as St. John's at Prospect Hall (7-2, 4-1 IAAM) edged Severn. Sarah McCutcheon assisted the goal.


S. Fulton 3, Scotland 0

WARFORDSBURG, Pa. - Brandy Swope had 12 service points and Kaylie Mellott added 10 as the Indians won, 25-13, 25-11, 25-10.

Mellott had nine kills, while Loni Layton and Cajan Woodal had six each.

Kristin Serafini had 13 service points and seven assists for Grace Academy in a 25-17, 25-20, 25-18 loss to Cumberland Valley Christian.

Daniele Sowers had 10 service points - six on aces - and Melissa Malapek added six blocks for Grace (3-8).

Grace 3, Heritage 2

Kristin Serafini had 13 service points - eight on aces - and 15 assists as Grace Academy edged Heritage Academy 26-24, 23-25, 25-14, 20-25, 15-9 on Thursday.

Daniele Sowers had seven kills and 11 service points, while Megan Cox had six kills and nine service points for Grace.

Tina Conner had 18 aces and nine kills, while Becca Conner added seven aces and 11 assists to lead Broadfording past New Life 20-25, 25-15, 25-17, 25-13.

Jessie Fath added six kills and Sierra Litten had six assists.

Litten had 10 service points and eight assists in Broadfording's 25-22, 25-19, 25-11 win over Faith.

Tina Conner had 16 kills and four aces, Becca Conner had 15 assists and four kills and Fath added six kills for the Lions (12-3).
