MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Ashley Helfrick had 11 digs, six kills and 10 service points as the Rockets swept Steel-High, 25-8, 25-7, 25-7.

Jess Stough added four aces and Lindsay Crider had 16 assists for James Buchanan (12-0, 10-0).

Hedgesville 3 Mercersburg Academy 0

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Lauran Ashton recorded 18 assists and three aces to lead Hedgesville to a 25-20, 25-23, 25-22 sweep of Mercersburg Academy. Lauren Pitzer had five kills, four aces and six digs in the match and Kayla Laing added eight kills for Hedgesville (11-5-3).

Melissa McCartney had 38 set assists, Jessie Miga had 44 digs and 20 service points and Ashley Doughty had 11 kills for Mercersburg (5-3).

JV: Hedgesville, 25-12, 25-11.

Hancock 3, Paw Paw 0

HANCOCK - Jenna Demory had 23 serivce points, 20 assists, and six kills to lead Hancock to a 25-16, 25-15, 25-20 sweep of Paw Paw.


Christine Mellott had seven kills and Katie Golden had six for the Panthers (2-6).

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Josh Fowler, Duncan Williams, Matt Mudge and Ryan Okal each scored a goal for Hedgesville (7-1-1). Matt Diller scored both goals for Mercersburg Academy (4-3).

Musselman 2, Goretti 1

INWOOD, W.Va. - Joe Rohrer and Trekor Chandler each scored a goal to lead Musselman past St. Maria Goretti.

Jeb Schramm scored off an assists from Anthony Durski and Kevin Brashears had 11 saves for the Gaels (3-7).

Jamie Kees had five saves for Musselman (4-6-1).

JV: 2-2 draw.


North 26, Williamsport 6

Lamar Harris scored ran for 101 yards and three touchdowns to lead North Hagerstown over Williamsport. Jarell Rodriqeuz threw for 105 yards and Derrek McCarty added a touchdown for the Hubs (2-2).

Catoctin 29, Smithsburg 20

Andrew Bohan threw touchdown passes to Dustin Mitchell and Matt Thompson and Chad Brown ran for a score for Smithsburg (2-2).

Brunswick 46 Clear Spring 12

Derek Dyer scored on a 40-yard pass from Tyler Braithwaite and Donnie Lapole ran for a touchdown for Clear Spring. Matt Cool had 99 yards rushing for the Blazers.

South 20, Boonsboro 13

Mark Bryan scored two touchdowns for the Rebels, including one on a kick return. Coty Grove added a touchdown and Stan Hoffman recorded a safety for the Rebels.


Boonsboro 21, South 15

Michael DeBarge threw for one touchdown and ran for another in Boonsboro's win over South Hagerstown. Dino Brown also scored for Boonsboro (3-2), while Kyle Kane recorded 10 tackles. Matt Campbell and Marcellus Sumlin ran for touchdowns for South (2-3). Campbell rushed for 100 yards.
