Hubs climb higher in Super 7

The North Hagerstown Hubs continued their climb in The Herald-Mail Super 7 football poll following a blowout win over Frederick on Saturday.

The Hubs, off to their first 3-0 start since 1987, moved up one spot to No. 3 after beating the Cadets - who had been ranked seventh - 45-13 at School Stadium.

Martinsburg beat Park View 45-7 and remains the unanimous No. 1 team in the Tri-State area.

Walkersville blanked No. 6 Catoctin 23-0 and held steady at No. 2.

Berkeley Springs vaulted back into the Super 7 at No. 4 with a win over Northern Garrett, while South Hagerstown fell two spots to fifth after a 27-7 loss to Severn.

Catoctin stayed at No. 6 after its loss to Walkersville, while St. John's at Prospect Hall makes its first appearance in the Super 7 at No. 7.

Chambersburg and Frederick dropped out of the poll.
