Shippensburg University

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Dennis M. Castelli of Chambersburg, Pa., and Charles C. Goodhart of Shippensburg have been appointed to the Shippensburg University Council of Trustees, and Lory A. Naugle of Shippensburg was re-appointed to the council.

Castelli was a faculty member in the history/philosophy department from 1964 until retirement in 1997. He also was a teacher at Springfield and Hershey high schools.

Goodhart is chief of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Bureau of Maintenance and Operations' equipment division. He has been actively involved with the SU Foundation and has helped the organization raise funds for 20 years.

Naugle, who works for the Franklin County Probation Department as an instructor for the Impaired Drivers Unit, has served on the council since 1997.

Citizens Bank of Southern Pennsylvania

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Karen Oberholzer of Greencastle has been appointed assistant branch manager of Citizens Bank of Southern Pennsylvania's Waynesboro Mall office.

Chastity L. Wantz of Waynesboro, Pa., has been named assistant branch manager of Citizens Bank's Chambersburg Mall office.

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Don Bowers, owner of Don Bowers Financial Services in Greencastle, recently attended a workshop focused on small business retirement plans.

The workshop was conducted by H.D. Vest Investment Securities Inc. and qualified the participants for required continuing professional education credits.

Scott A. Hostetler has joined First United Bank & Trust as a mortgage consultant to serve the Hagerstown and Frederick areas.

Hostetler, of Cumberland, Md., previously held positions in the financial industry as branch manager and account executive.

Jeffery Piper was the top producer, top lister and the top seller at the Hagerstown Long & Foster office in July with a sales volume of $1,911,966.

Focusing on sales throughout Western Maryland, he will specialize in commercial sales and leasing as well as residential sales.

Prior to joining Mackintosh, Mangan worked in commercial real estate finance with a local lending institution and as a senior portfolio analyst for a real estate investment trust.

Cynthia Kuttner-Sands, M.D., C.M.D., is the new medical director for assisted and independent living residents at Homewood at Williamsport.

Kuttner-Sands, a board-certified geriatrician who specializes in medical direction and long-term care, assumes her new responsibilities on Sept. 11.

FREDERICK, Md. - For the fifth consecutive year, The Longaberger Co. recognized Susie Evans, branch adviser from Frederick, as the 2003 Top National Sales Award winner at the company's annual convention in Columbus, Ohio.

Evans held more than 600 home shows and generated more than $258,272 in personal sales and sponsored new recruits.

Also, Jamie Blickenstaff of Hagerstown recently joined The Longaberger Co. as an independent sales associate.
