U.S. Open coverage begins today on USA

Once again, it's time for the annual U.S. Open marathon at the National Tennis Center in New York. Coverage on USA will continue at 7 p.m.; late-night taped highlights and weekend afternoon coverage will be on CBS.

"Jim Brown: All-American"

With the return of football season, here's another chance to catch this documentary about one of the all-time greats. Directed by Spike Lee, the film covers Brown's life starting with his childhood on St. Simons Island, Ga., and includes interviews with family, friends and associates.

9 p.m. on the WB
"Family Friendly Awards"

At a time when many parents are wary of what their children may be exposed to in just about any form of media, this fifth annual ceremony may offer a bit of comfort.
