Johnson-Griffin


Margaret Courtney Johnson and Brian Lawrence Griffin of Chesapeake, Va., announce their engagement.

Ms. Johnson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Savage Johnson of Virginia Beach, Va. She is a 1987 graduate of First Colonial High School and received a bachelor of arts degree in communications from James Madison University in 1991. She is employed as a catering sales manager with The Renaissance Portsmouth Hotel in Portsmouth, Va.

Mr. Griffin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Waverly Lawrence Griffin of Salisbury, Md. He is a 1987 graduate of Clear Spring High School and received a bachelor of science degree in political science from Frostburg State University in 1992. He is employed as a claims investigator with GAB Robins North America Inc. in Norfolk, Va.

An October wedding is planned.




Embly-Shank


Ashley N. Embly and Jeb L. Shank announce their engagement.

Ms. Embly is the daughter of Brenda and Dennis Embly of Hagerstown. She is a 2001 graduate of North Hagers-town High School, a 2003 graduate of Hagerstown Community College and is attending Frostburg State University Hagerstown Center. She is employed as a manager at Dairy Queen in Hagerstown.

Mr. Shank is the son of Teresa and Ronald Shank of Williamsport. He is a 1998 graduate of Williamsport High School and is attending Hagerstown Community College. He is employed at Teleflex Morse in Hagerstown and is co-owner of High Rev'd Racing in Hagerstown.

A July 2004 wedding is planned.




Martin-Shenberger


Julie Marie Martin of Shippensburg, Pa., and Douglas Wayne Shenberger of Clear Spring announce their engagement.

Miss Martin is the daughter of Gary and Pam Martin of Carlisle, Pa., and Shippensburg. She attended Shippensburg Senior High School. She is employed as a teacher with Truth Christian Academy in Hagerstown.

Mr. Shenberger is the son of Donald and Ruthie Shenberger of Clear Spring. He attended Clear Spring High School. He is employed with Mercersburg Printing in Mercersburg, Pa.

A September wedding is planned.
