Everybody's Day auto display scheduled

August 17, 2003

The 81/70 Cruisers auto club and friends have been invited to the big Everybody's Day celebration at Pen Mar Park for the fifth straight year.

Cruisers' members and other interested persons are welcome to bring their classic cars and hot rods to display at the park, located near Fort Ritchie, on Aug. 31 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (It's requested that display participants arrive by 11 a.m. if possible.)

Everybody's Day features a variety of entertainment including a dance band (which starts at 2 p.m.), clowns, Indian dancing, crafts, a playground for kids and more.

Auto display participants are invited to bring chairs, sodas, place settings and food for a picnic with other car lovers.

The 81/70 Cruisers club spans several states across the Northeast, including the Tri-State area. Participants from as far away as New Jersey are expected for Everybody's Day.
