Murphy-Hollins


Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Murphy announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Jane, to Charles Hollins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hollins of Hassocks, England.

Ms. Murphy is a graduate of Hancock High School and Western Maryland College.

Mr. Hollins is a graduate of University of Humberside in Hull, England.

A Sept. 27 wedding is planned.




King-Grove


Priscilla M. King and Robert J. Grove announce their engagement.

Miss King is the daughter of William E. King of Martinsburg, Pa., and Lucille C. King of Fort Littleton, Pa. She is a graduate of Forbes Road High School in Waterfall, Pa.

Mr. Grove is the son of Robert E. Grove of Hagers-town and Carol R. Grove of West Melbourne, Fla. He is a graduate of South Hagerstown High School.

Ms. Grove is the daughter of Alice C. Cox of Hagerstown and Guy Robert Grove of Clear Spring.

Mr. Caldwell is the son of Harriet and Robert Caldwell of Fiddlersburg, Md.

Debra Kelley and Harry S. Baker announce their engagement.

Miss Kelley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert V. Kelley of Hagerstown.

Mr. Baker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson C. Baker Sr. of Hagerstown.

Rushing-Gross


Lynn and Christine Rushing of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Suzanne Rushing, to David James Gross, son of James and Janet Gross of Elmhurst, Ill.

Miss Rushing is a 1999 graduate of Grace Academy and received a bachelor of arts degree in English from Cedarville University this year. She is employed at Brook Lane Health Services as a behavioral specialist in the Laurel Hall School.

Mr. Gross is a 1998 graduate of York High School in Elmhurst and received a bachelor of science degree in social work from Cedarville University in 2002. He is employed at Brook Lane Health Services as an admissions coordinator.

A Sept. 20 wedding is planned.
