CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - A 44-year-old Harpers Ferry, W.Va., man who was shot several times in the stomach outside the Rainbow Road Club early Sunday remained in good condition Monday, West Virginia State Police said.

James Collyer was taken to Winchester (Va.) Medical Center with three gunshot wounds to the stomach and one to the wrist, state police said.

Police said they believe the shooting occurred after an argument, possibly involving a group of people, inside the Rainbow Road Club along U.S. 340 near the West Virginia/Virginia state line.
