Pleasant View Heights preliminary plat OK'd



The Washington County Planning Commission on Monday approved a preliminary plat plan for Pleasant View Heights on Melody Lane near Downsville Pike.

Nineteen single-family houses are proposed, according to a planning department report.




Advance Auto Parts gets OK on site plan



Advance Auto Parts on Virginia Avenue wants to add 6,600 square feet to its business, according to a report made to the Washington County Planning Commission Monday.

The Planning Commission approved the site plan.




Antietam Tractor plans expansion



Antietam Tractor & Equipment plans to add to its building on Leitersburg Pike, Senior Planner Timothy Lung told the Washington County Planning Commission Monday.

An 80-foot-by-100-foot addition would be used for service bays, according to a planning department report. A new 40-foot-by-80-foot building would be used for storage.

The commission approved the site plan.




Dual Highway billboards approved



The Washington County Planning Commission on Monday approved a site plan for two billboards at 1350 and 1360 Dual Highway.

Great Outdoors Advertising Co. of Mt. Airy, Md., submitted the proposal, along with a picture of the area and the signs superimposed to show how they would look.




Williamsport firm's storage approved



The Washington County Planning Commission on Monday approved a site plan for storage bins at Engineered Polymer Solutions, which is near Williamsport and produces resin products, according to a planning department report.
