MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Myrtle Lee Rudy, 82, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at the Compassionate Care Home in Berkeley Station.
Born Feb. 16, 1921, in Grayson, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Ollie Howard Caudill.
She attended schools in Grayson.
She was chief inspector for the Witchey Foundry in Mansfield, Ohio, for 26 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mansfield.
She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Dana Rudy; three sisters; and three brothers.
Services and burial will be in Grayson.

Elva A. Rawls
RANSON, W.Va. - Elva A. Rawls, 69, of Ranson, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at her home.
Born Oct. 20, 1933, in Ranson, she was the daughter of the late Hiram and Lillian McCarty Hyatt.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John L. Kave, in 1957.
She was a 1952 graduate of Charles Town (W.Va.) High School.
She was a member of Zion Episcopal Church in Charles Town and taught Sunday school.
She was a past den mother for Cub Scouts; volunteered at Ranson Elementary School; was a member of Tuesday Senior Citizens Bowling League of the Inwood (W.Va.) Eatery and Sunday Night Fun Bunch.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Harold L. Rawls; one daughter, Tina Goff of Kearneysville, W.Va.; four sons, Daniel Kave and Thomas Kave, both of Kearneysville, Norman Kave of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Richard Kave of Ranson; three sisters, Willetta Dinges, Rosebud Carper and Cornelia Souders, all of Ranson; one brother, Daniel Hyatt of Leesburg, Va.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town. The Rev. Kent Tice will officiate. Burial will be in Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Francis M. Anderson
LAKE WALES, Fla. - Francis M. Anderson, 82, of Lake Wales, and formerly of Hagerstown, died of respiratory failure Sunday, July 13, 2003, at Bartow Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 11, 1921, in McKee's Rocks, Pa., he was the son of the late Bernard V. and Anna Mae Anderson.
He was a retired machinist from Mack Trucks.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
He attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales.
He was a member of VFW Post 2420 of Lake Wales.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eleanora P. Anderson; two daughters, Barbara McCormick of Hagerstown and Patricia Smith of Fairfield, Pa.; two sons, Richard Anderson of Cavetown and David Anderson of Chalfont, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel in Hagerstown. Inurnment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
A memorial service will be held in the fall in Lake Wales.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Graveside services for Dorothy A. Binkley, 81, of Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and formerly of South Third Street, who died Saturday, July 19, 2003, will be held today at 2 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Greencastle, Pa. The Rev. Stuart Troutman will officiate.

FREDERICK, Md. - Charles "Juice" Foreback, 81, of 1100 Peach Orchard Lane, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at his home.
Born Dec. 17, 1921, in Brunswick, Md., he was the son of the late William H. and Adlai Willis Foreback.
He retired from the Town of Brunswick.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
