FREDERICK, Md. - Connie Duke has joined Love & Company in Frederick as a staff accountant.

Prior to joining Love & Company, Duke worked for several years for the Chapel Valley Landscape Co. as accounts receivable and billing specialist and contracts administrator.

Greencastle Eye Care Center

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Dr. James E. Grove has joined Greencastle Eye Care Center in Greencastle as an associate.

Grove also owns and operates a primary care optometric practice in Mt. Holly Springs, Pa., with an emphasis on ocular disease, glaucoma and Corneal Refractive Therapy.

Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Peggy Hays and Vicki Silvestri with Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA were recognized as Agents of the Month for June in the Greencastle office.

Hays, of near State Line, Pa., was recognized in the three years and over category. Silvestri, of Chambersburg, Pa., was recognized in the three years and under category.

Hays was recognized as June's leader in service, based on the use of companies affiliated with Jack Gaughen ERA.

Diane Henicle of Greencastle, Betty Crumrine of Greencastle and Anthony D'Anna of McConnellsburg, Pa., were recognized for reaching the $1 million mark in sales for 2003.

Maryland Job Service

Faye Gossert, Maryland unemployment insurance supervisor, and Suzette Snyder and Faye Stauch, employment specialists at Maryland Job Service in Hagerstown, recently attended the 90th annual conference of International Association of Workforce Professionals in Palm Springs, Calif.

The conference included more than 40 workshops on professional and personal topics.

Edward Jones

Edward Jones managing partner John Bachmann was elected by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce board of directors as the Chamber's vice chairman for 2003-04.

During his term as vice chairman, Bachmann will travel the country addressing other chambers and leaders.

Long & Foster

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Butch Cazin was Long & Foster's top producer, lister and seller and the agent with the most new listings in Berkeley County in May.

Cazin, who works at the Martinsburg office, had a sales volume of $1,625,450.


SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - BB&T has promoted Cortney B. Maddox to assistant vice president.

Maddox, a financial center manager who joined the bank last year, lives in Martinsburg.
