Shoemaker was in court Friday for the beginning of the July trial term. He entered the plea before Judge Richard J. Walsh.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police affidavit of probable cause, Shoemaker stabbed Aaron Myers of 1024 Warm Spring Road, Lot 55, several times in the back during an altercation in Myers' home on the morning of Feb. 2.
