T.J. Hose had two hits and drove in four runs as Funkstown defeated Warren County (Va.) in the Firecracker Tournament, sending it to today's semifinals today at 1 p.m.
The semifinal winners advance to the finals at 4:30.
Matt Allen added three hits and Shawn Ryan pitched an inning of releif for his fourth save for Funkstown (18-8).

Winchester 5-4, Williamsport 4-3: Kyle Smallwood had two hits to lead Winchester past Williamsport in the first of two games. Jason Lombard and Craig Pollock each had two hits in the second game to complete the doubleheader sweep.
Tyler Beard and Corey Itnyre had two hits for Williamsport in the first game. Itnyre also had three hits for the Senators in the second game.

Firefighters 6, F&M 4: Jake Staebler tossed a two-hitter with nine strikeouts and Dustin Boward homered to lead Firefighters.
FOP 12, Eagles 5: Cam Shifler had four hits, while Chris Selby had three hits, including two home runs, and four RBI to lead FOP. Cody McCarthy and Ben Walzl each added two hits. McCarthy struck out 12 in the win. Ryan Ianaro and Ryan Heavner led Eagles with two hits each. Ianaro homered.
Hagerstown Floors 13, Firefighters 1: Adam Merrbaugh had three hits, including two home runs, for Hagerstown Floors. Brandon Rohrer also homered and struck out 12, while Tyler Fath and Aaron Dixon each added two hits.
FOP 13, Hagerstown Floors 3: Cody McCarthy hit a grand slam and Cam Shifler added two hits to lead FOP.

Spinnler breaks record
LONACONING, Md. - Maria Spinnler, 41, of Hagerstown, won the masters division at the 15th annual Iron Furnace 5K, breaking her own masters course record in 18 minutes, 49 seconds.
Spinnler ran 18:58 last year.
Ashley Lockard, 16, of Clear Spring, was the fifth overall female in 20:43.
Oregon's Mike and Kristen Dudley ran with the overall male and female titles in 15:31 and 17:05.
Brett Mower, 32, of Hagerstown, finished fourth overall in 16:47.
Jeff Delauter, 42, of Clear Spring, was the third male master in 18:44, while Mike Fitzgerald, 48, of Hagerstown was fourth in 18:46.
