Pryor-Cave


Tammy Rene Pryor and Eric Wade Cave announce their engagement.

Miss Pryor is the daughter of Paul and Connie Pryor of Smithsburg. She is a 1989 graduate of Smithsburg High School. She received a bachelor of music degree with teacher certification from Liberty University in 1994 and a master of religious education degree with a counseling concentration from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 1996. She is a choral and theater arts teacher at Middletown Middle School in Frederick County, Md.

Mr. Cave is the son of Roy and Evonne Cave of Maugansville. He is a 1991 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and attended Hagers-town Community College. He is employed as a salesman with Frito-Lay Corp. in Hagerstown.

A July 12 wedding is planned.




Renner-Mills


Charlene Kim Renner and Jeffrey A. Mills announce their engagement.

Ms. Renner is the daughter of the Rev. David E. and Charlene C. Garns. She is a graduate of North Hagerstown High School and Hagerstown Community College. She is employed with First Data Merchant Services as a senior training and performance consultant.

Mr. Mills is the son of Betty I. Mills and the late Melvin E. Mills. He is a graduate of Boonsboro High School. He is employed with Jamison Door Company.

Jones-Aikens


Ruth Anna Martin Jones and Rickey Wayne Aikens announce their engagement.

Ms. Jones is the daughter of Gerald L. Martin of Hagerstown and F. Elizabeth Flook of Boonsboro. She is a 1978 graduate of Smithsburg High School. She is the owner of Ruth's Sewing Room in Hagerstown.

Mr. Aikens is the son of Claude Aikens of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Helen Tobin of Bunker Hill, W.Va. He attended Hedgesville High School. He is employed as a truck driver with Orgill of Inwood in Inwood, W.Va.

A Dec. 6 wedding is planned.




Parker-Moreland


James and Joanne Parker of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Marie Parker, to Dannyl Matthew Moreland, son of Dannyl and Victoria Moreland of La Vale, Md.

Ms. Parker is a 1996 graduate of Smithsburg High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in sociology from Shepherd College in 2001. She is employed with JCPenney in Hagerstown.

Mr. Moreland is a 1987 graduate of Allegany High School in Cumberland, Md. He received a bachelor of science degree in geography from Frostburg State University in 1991. He is employed with the Maryland Department of Human Resources in Hagerstown.

A May 8, 2004, wedding is planned.




Petrosino-Ruscio


Mr. and Mrs. John B. Ruscio of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their son, Nick Ruscio, to Jennifer Petrosino, daughter of Christine Seuss of Plaistow, N.H., and Patrick Petrosino of Fitchburg, Mass.

Ms. Petrosino received a bachelor of arts degree from St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., in 1999 and a master of business administration degree from Bentley College in Waltham, Mass., in 2002. She is employed as a financial analyst at BAE Systems in Nashua, N.H.

Mr. Ruscio received a bachelor of arts degree from University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Mass., in 1996 and a master of business administration degree from Bentley College in 1999. He is employed as a financial specialist at BAE Systems.

A November wedding is planned.




Burkett-Abbate


Kimberly D. Burkett and Anthony Joseph Abbate announce their engagement.

Ms. Burkett is the daughter of Nelson Burkett of Hagerstown and the late Loretta Burkett. She is a graduate of Smithsburg High School. She is employed by the State of Maryland with the Division of Parole and Probation in Hagerstown.

Mr. Abbate is the son of Frank and Barbara Abbate of Erie, Pa. He is a graduate of Tech Memorial High School in Erie. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is employed by the State of Maryland as a correctional officer at Maryland Correctional Institution south of Hagerstown.

An October wedding is planned.
