Irv Sleighter

Chambersburg, Junior, Pitcher

Trojans' leader did everything you could ask for. On the mound, he was 8-3 with a 1.05 ERA, striking out 77 while walking only nine in 60 innings. At the plate, he batted .477 with 11 doubles and 29 RBI.

Nick Adenhart

Williamsport, Junior, Pitcher

Ranked the top junior pitcher in the nation before the season by Baseball America, Adenhart lived up to the hype by going 6-1 with a 1.20 ERA, allowing 19 hits in 46 2/3 innings while striking out 93.

Adam Mills

Clear Spring, Senior, Pitcher

Blazers star went 6-2 with a 0.94 ERA, striking out 86 in 53 innings. Pitched three shutouts and two one-hitters.

Blue Storm's biggest threat finished with a .536 average, six homers and 24 RBI. Heading to Ohio University.

Will Delawter

Catoctin, Junior, First Base

Third hitter in Cougars' lineup batted .462 with seven doubles, two homers, 24 RBI, 19 runs scored and nine steals.

T.J. Hose

North Hagerstown, Junior, Second Base

Batted .387 with three doubles and 15 RBI. On the mound, went 4-2 with a 2.16 ERA and 57 strikeouts in 45 1/3 innings.

Chris Price

Musselman, Senior, Third Base

Batted .387 with four doubles, five homers, 18 RBI and 29 runs scored to lead Applemen.

David Miner

South Hagerstown, Junior, Shortstop

Rebels' multisport star batted .535 with seven doubles and two homers out of the No. 2 spot. As a pitcher, went 3-0 in the playoffs, including a win in the Maryland Class 1A title game.

Drew McGwin

Chambersburg, Junior, Outfielder

Batted .467 with seven doubles, two triples, 23 RBI, 24 runs scored and 10 steals for the Trojans.

Brandon Combs

Musselman, Senior, Outfielder

Anchored the Applemen's batting order, batting .455 with five doubles, three homers and 21 RBI.

Williamsport, Junior, Outfielder

Wildcats' No. 2 hitter batted .424 with four doubles, scored 16 runs and drew 11 walks.

Trevor Hullinger

North Hagerstown, Junior, Outfielder

Hubs slugger batted .404 with six doubles, five homers, 20 RBI and 24 runs scored.

Chad Wolfe

Catoctin, Senior, Designated Hitter

Cougars' cleanup hitter batted .453 with eight doubles, five homers, 30 RBI, 20 runs scored and five steals.

Justin Dailey

Jefferson, Senior, Utility

Versatile athlete batted .369 with five doubles, four triples and 25 RBI, scored 52 runs and stole 29 bases.

Coach of the Year

Mike O'Brien, Walkersville

Lions were 5-5 on April 23. On May 29, they were 16-5-1 and celebrating a Md. Class 2A championship.
