West End Little League


Coca-Cola 11, Moose 8: Dwight Boward had 12 strikeouts and two hits to lead Coca-Cola. Brett Smith had two hits for Moose.

Hagerstown PONY League


Goodwill 7, Jeter Paving 4: Allen Knight had a two-run homer and Marcellus Sumlin hit a solo shot for Goodwill. Dave Plank had two hits for Jeter Paving.

American Little League


Funkstown 11, Elks 0: Nick Martin, Billy Springirph, Robert Warnick and Eric Campbell each had two hits for Funkstown. Campbell homered and combined with Warnick to pitch a one-hitter with eight strikeouts.

FOP 6, Elks 1: Dustin Myers had three hits and pitched a two-hitter with 14 strikeouts, and Joe Ponfil added two hits for FOP. Josh Fazemeker had two hits for Elks.

Lions 6, Exchange 0: Christian Binford and Alex Parsinger combined on a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts, while John Courtney had three hits and Kevin McCormack added two for Lions.

Lions 5, Rotary 2: Greg Lynn threw a three-hitter and Jeremy Barron homered for Lions.

Kiwanis 13, American Legion 8: Will Murray and Billy McGarrity each had two hits for Kiwanis. Alan Sandberg and Dakota Durning each had two hits for American Legion.

Total Lube Center 13, Donny's Plumbing 0: Brock Heaston had 10 strikeouts and went 3-for-4, while Zach Hildebrand went 2-for-3 with a grand slam, and Christian Buttry, Ryan Smith and Jack Nehemias each had two hits for Total Lube.

Hagerstown Church League


Virginia Avenue 13, Grace 10: John Merbaugh had four hits, while John Kennedy, Willie Beard, Greg Trimmer and Jeff Mowen each added three hits for Virginia Avenue. Brian Kelly had four hits for Grace.

Five Forks 20, Ringgold 7: Ryan Hutzberger had four hits for Five Forks. Mark Covell had three hits for Ringgold.

St. Mark's 25, Concordia 15: Don Beachley scored six runs, Whopper Bendel scored four runs, Brian Tingle had five hits, and Ronny Topper had six hits for St. Mark's.
