Trey Cobb scored the game-winning run on a hit-and-run RBI double by Mike Spry to lift Hagerstown past Greencastle 1-0 on Monday.

Brian Renner tossed a one-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts for the win. Spry and Kevin Crawford each had two hits for the Hagerstown (11-0).


West End Little League

Elks 18, Stags 4: Ryan Cornett had a grand slam for Elks. Brandon Hess had two hits for Stags.

West End Minor

FOP 9, Hiser's Concrete 8: Kevin Kretzer, Dustin Simmons, and Trevor Shuck each had three hits for FOP. Paul Bigler and Josh Shingleton each had three hits for Hiser.

Hagerstown Pony League

FOP 9, UAW 8: Tim Shifler hit a home run for FOP. Kyle Cunningham and Lucas Lichtenberg each had two hits and three RBI, and Kevin Tyler had two hits and struck out nine batters for UAW.


Hagerstown Colt League

Goodwill 8, FOP 6: Doug Palmer had two hits, and Arthur Fisher hit a home run for Goodwill. Justin Marshall had two hits for FOP.

Eagles 9, Cascade 6: Greg Small struck out eight and had three hits, while Andy May and Steve Picone each had two hits for Eagles. Allen Tolentino had two hits, including a homer, for Cascade.

American Little League

Funsktown 7, FOP 0: Billy Springirth, George Casper each had two hits, and Dee Stubbs struck out 15 for Funkstown. Gerald Tonsil had two hits for FOP.

Junior Legion

Williamsport Senators 4, Frederick 2: Aerik Taylor tossed a two-hitter with eight strikeouts, Derek Hadley, Phillip Jordan, and Jeremiah Mills each had two hits for the Senators.

Valley Little League

Total Lube 5, SMRG 4: Casey Raios, Taylor Metzger, and Cory Kerr had two hits for Total Lube. Jordan Thurber had two hits for SMRG.

First Action Security: 10, AAA Construction: 9: Luke Shindle had two hits for First Action. Josh Krandell and Matt Bowman each had two hits and a double for AAA.

Hancock Little League

Yankees 16, Astros 6: Jack Zies had three hits and four RBI, and Kyle Smith added two hits for the Yankees. Ty Trainor had two hits for the Astros.

Brewer's 13, Burkholders 3: Adam Plume pitched a three-hitter for Brewer's, and Craig Sharon and Brad Kiracofe each had three hits for Brewer's.

Conococheague LL

Redmen 10, Lions 7: Jesse Buchman and Austin Taylor allowed hits and struck out 10 for Redmen while Jordan Palladino and Devon Byrd each had two RBI.

Allen Hewett Investigations 11, ASFCME 1: Bridgette Ringley and Courtney Long combined for a no-hitter and 11 strikeouts for Allen Hewett.

Larry Allen 5, Capital 4: Jennifer Bowlas and Carrie Johnson each had two hits to lead Larry Allen. Jessica Bennett and Emily Huff combined for 14 strikeouts for Capital.

Nutters Ice Cream 12, Paul Crampton Contractors 4: Brynn Arnone and Courtney Kefauver each had two hits and two RBI to lead Nutters. Brooke Powell, Jodi Sneckenberger and McKinley Staley had two hits each for Paul Crampton.

Subway 3, MJ Fundraising 2: Destanie Agee and Cory Delumeau combined for a one-hitter to lead Subway. Agee also had two hits. Lauren Abbott and Sarah Mullin combined for 12 strikeouts for MJ Fundraising.

Custom Embroidery 8, Quad State 7: Ashley Butler had three hits and two RBI, including a game-winning triple. Sissy Russ had a double, triple and two RBI to lead Custom.

Maugansville Junior League

Pepsi 13, Carbaugh's 3: Corey McCarney, Chuckie Dotson and Nathan Harden had two hits each while Guido Roche homered for Pepsi. Joe Byers had two hits for Carbaugh's.

South Mountain Little League

Lions 18, Reese's 8: David Lewis had three hits while Adam Griffith, Troy Hartle, Drew Poulin and Chaney Lum all had two hits for Reese's.

Reese's Home Improvement 15, Warrenfeltz Company 9: Zach Macomber and Kyle Friend each had two hits and homered while Tyler Redman, Griffin Lovelady and Daniel Martin had two hits apiece for Reese's.

Mace Auto Body 18, Lewis Orchard 5: Jeremy Boyd went 4-for-4, Nieko Akers went 3-for-3, and Shane Ganly, J.P. Steigh and Colin Ganly each had two hits for Mace. Josh Wiles and Chris Pittsnogle both homered for Lewis Orchard.

Hancock 6, Wilson Ruritan 2: Winning pitcher Faron Weller had nine strikeouts and two hits, and Nathan Smith doubled twice for Hancock. J.D. Hockenberry had two hits for Wilson.
