Charity softball game
FREDERICK, Md. - Saturday, June 14, 3 p.m., Harry Grove Stadium. This is the second annual "Day at the Ballpark" charity softball game between Frederick Police and firefighters from Frederick County agencies. Proceeds benefit the Frederick Police Activities League and Daybreak Adult Day Services. Longest Day of Golf
Sponsored by American Cancer Society, Monday, June 16, sunrise to sunset. Golfers are asked to raise a minimum of $100 registration fee per person. Golfers will be assigned to one of the following courses: Greencastle Greens, Beaver Creek, Black Rock, Locust Hill, Stone Bridge, West Winds, Whiskey Creek or Musket Ridge.
