Museum hosts Family Arts Festival
Washington County Museum of Fine Arts will host its annual Family Arts Festival, 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14.
Museum instructors will lead activities in a variety of art media from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Projects for children include clay sculpture, collage, and drawing and painting.
At 11 a.m., mime Mark Jaster, above, will provide entertainment in his tale, "Piccolo's Trunk." The story will teach concentration, self-expression and creativity. Jaster uses rhythms, chants and movements to reinforce positive concepts.
