Robert R. Ford

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Robert Rosko Ford, 61, of Bull Frog Road, died Friday, May 23, 2003, at his home.

Born Sept. 27, 1941, in Colesville, Md., he was the son of the late Wallace A. and Dorothy Tyler Ford.

He was a member of Elias Lutheran Church in Emmitsburg, Md.

He was a member of Fairfield AMVETS Post 172 of Fairfield and the Blue Ridge Sportsman's Club.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Sites Ford of Gettysburg; his stepfather, Robert Abersole of Kensington, Md.; three daughters, Mary K. Ford of Baltimore, Tricia A. Ford of Glen Burnie, Md., and Tracy A. Ziegler of Mount Airy, Md.; five stepchildren, Crystal A. Brunner of Waynesboro, Pa., Cathy M. Tyler of Hagerstown, Patricia S. Ball of Germany, Thomas E. Tyler of Sabillasville, Md., and Timothy A. Tyler of New Oxford, Pa.; three sisters, Betty Johnson of Frederick, Md., Janet Unterman of Tennessee and Joyce McCarson of Kensington, Md.; four brothers, Wallace Ford Jr. of Littlestown, Pa., Harold Ford of Orrtanna, Pa., Kevin Ford of Wheaton, Md., and Ricky Abersole of Kensington, four grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a stepson, Terry J. Tyler, and a sister, Margaret Knight.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Skiles Funeral Home, Emmitsburg, Md. Chaplain Judith Guasch will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fairfield.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will open at noon.

Margaret P. Cramer

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Margaret P. Cramer, 73, of 1600 Clinton Ave., died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Manor Care Health Services, Chambersburg.

Born Feb. 14, 1930, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Theodore L. Farner Sr. and Minerva Claudy Farner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Cramer, in 1979.

She was a 1948 graduate of Chambersburg High School.

She is survived by a daughter, Debra K. Saunders of Voorhees, N.J.; a son, John Wesley Cramer of Chambersburg; two brothers, Theodore L. Farner Jr. of Chambersburg and Ronald L. Farner of Catasaqua, Pa.; and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Clever Peirce.

Services will be Wednesday at noon in the chapel at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg. The Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 452 E. King St., Chambersburg, Pa. 17201.

Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.

Edna E. Eby

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Edna Elizabeth Diller Eby, 83, of 5219 Snider Road, died Friday, May 23, 2003, at her home.

Born Dec. 29, 1919, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Irvin Stauffer and Clara Siegrist Diller.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Waynecastle Mennonite Church near Waynesboro, Pa.

She is survived by her husband, David Leroy Eby, whom she married Aug. 15, 1940; a daughter, Rachel Martin of St. Thomas, Pa.; eight sons, Ray Eby of Flintstone, Md., Mark Eby of St. Thomas, Carl Eby of Willowstreet, Pa., Nathan Eby of Robesonia, Pa., John Eby of Newburg, Pa., Luke Eby and Omar Eby, both of Chambersburg, and Earl Eby of the Dominican Republic; 47 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. Waynecastle Mennonite Church, Waynesboro. Ministers Larry Weber, Marvin Martin, Mahlon Eby and Sanford Martin will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the church.

The family requests the omission of flowers.

Mildred M. Keefer

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Mildred M. Souders Keefer, 84, of 616 Wayne Ave., died Friday, May 23, 2003, at her home.

Born May 12, 1919, in Fulton County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Martin and Myrtle Poole Souders.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick Souders, in 1967 and her second husband, Herman H. Keefer, in 2002.

She worked at Musselmans/Knouse Foods in Biglerville, Pa.

She was a member of Cito United Methodist Church in Cito, Pa.

She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Burbol of Chambersburg; a stepson, John H. Keefer of Aspers, Pa.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and eight brothers.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Cito United Methodist Church, McConnellsburg, Pa. The Rev. Donald R. Bard will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Greencastle, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cito United Methodist Church, HCR 80, McConnellsburg, PA 17233.
