Patricia M. Magaha


Patricia Marie "Trish" Magaha, 16, of 48 Devonshire Road, Hagerstown, died Friday, May 9, 2003, at her home.

Born July 23, 1986, she was the daughter of Betty Jane Otzelberger Magaha Powell of Hagerstown.

She was a student at North Hagerstown High School.

She was a member of Evangal Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her stepfather, Darrell L. Powell; one sister, Jennifer A. King of Hagerstown; one half-sister, Cheryl Mills of Boonsboro; three half-brothers, Ronald W. Powell and James G. Powell, both of Hagerstown, and Blaine A. Powell of Lancaster, Pa.; maternal grandparents, Floyd R. and Catherine L. Otzelberger; paternal stepgrandmother, Thelma Myers; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown. The Rev. Ronald K. Faith will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.




Kenneth L. Campbell


BUNKER HILL, W.Va. - Kenneth L. Campbell, 83, of Bunker Hill, died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at his home.

Born March 20, 1920, in Frederick County, Va., he was the son of the late Ralph and Mary Elliott Campbell.

He was retired from C.H. Musselman Co.

A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Inwood, W.Va.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Catherine Golightly Campbell; two daughters, Sandra K. Hinkle of Lewisburg, W.Va., and Mary A. Kackley of Berryville, Va.; two sons, Paul D. Campbell of Pottersville, N.Y., and John E. Campbell of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; one sister, Dorothy Campbell of Inwood; one brother, Ralph Campbell of Inwood; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Love Dusing; and one brother, Ray Campbell.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at South Berkeley Chapel, Inwood. The Rev. Devin B. Ward will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Grace M. Bowers


Grace M. Bowers, 77, of 1205 Carroll Heights Blvd., Hagerstown, died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at her home.

Born March 12, 1926, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Teresa Vicoli Diseati.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick R. Bowers.

She was a plant manager for E. J. Fennel Co. of Hagerstown, from which she retired.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hagerstown.

She is survived by two sons, William R. Bowers of Hagerstown, and F. Anthony Bowers of Greencastle, Pa.; one sister, Mary A. Russell of Hagerstown; one brother, Donnie C. Diseati of Hagerstown; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Diseati, Nicola Diseati and Anthony Diseati.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, North Potomac Street, Hagerstown. The Rev. Robert Morey will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Humphrey W. Yaukey


MCCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Humphrey W. Yaukey, 83, of 216 S. First St., died Saturday, May 10, 2003, at Fulton County Medical Center.

Born Dec. 14, 1919, in Marion, Pa., he was the son of the late Charles P. and Mary R. Carbaugh Yaukey.

He retired from Grove Worldwide as a crane operator.

He was a member of McConnellsburg V.F.W. and McConnellsburg American Legion Post 561.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Mellott Yaukey of Chambersburg; one daughter, Tina Reeder of McConnellsburg; one son, Troy Yaukey of Drums, Pa.; one half brother, Denny Yaukey of Shippensburg, Pa.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Yaukey.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home. The Revs. Donald Bard and Belvy White will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg. The Fulton Honor Guard will provide a military funeral.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 9 p.m., with family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m.

Arrangements are by Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, McConnellsburg.




M. Eloise Farrow


SILVER SPRING, Md. - M. Eloise Farrow, 91, of 13408 Clifton Road, and formerly of the Harrisburg, Pa.-area, died Thursday, May 8, 2003, at her home.

Born May 6, 1912, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Frank Francis and Ora Belle Adams Henson.

Her husband, Richard Green Farrow, died Jan. 10, 1998. They were married June 15, 1941.

She was a graduate of Hagerstown High School, Lynchburg College and received her master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

She was a social worker for Lutheran Social Services.
