Concert to feature music from stage and screen

Hagerstown Choral Arts, directed by Gregory P. Shook, will present "Choral Arts Goes Pops!" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at South Hagerstown High School.

The concert will feature a variety of repertoire from the stage and screen, including selections from "West Side Story," "La Cage aux Folles," The Wizard of Oz" and other favorites.

Special guests will be the South Hagers-town High School Jazz Combo under the direction of Tony Domenico and mezzo soprano Jessica, Medina, a voice student at Shepherd College. The concert will be accompanied by pianist, Darlene Smith.

Tickets are $10, $8 for students and senior citizens. Purchase tickets at the door, from any Choral Arts member, or at Music and Arts, 1337 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
