May 06, 2003

Between 7 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. Sunday, damage estimated at $650 was done to 10 tires at the U-Haul Center on Shawley Drive in Hagerstown.

Deputy 1st Class Tom Routzahn went to the business Sunday at 1:30 p.m., where he was advised by a U-Haul employee of the damage.

The 10 tires were on a truck, a car and three trailers parked in the lot, deputies said.

All of the damaged tires belonged to U-Haul, except two trailer tires on a vehicle owned by the employee.

Deputies are asking anyone with information about the vandalism to call Routzahn at 240-313-2170 or Crime Solvers of Washington County at 301-733-4141.
