Visit Britain's offshore islands through film

The Nunnery, above, on the Isle of Iona, is a featured site in the last program of the Kiwanis Club of Hagerstown's Travel and Adventure film series. The travelogue is titled "Britain's Offshore Islands," and is at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at South Hagerstown High School auditorium, 1101 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown.

Some of the offshore islands visited will be Isle of Man, Shetland, Orkney, the Outer Hebrides, Anglesey and Holy Island, Iona, and the Channel Islands.

Next season's travel series begins in October. Topics include "Bavaria and the Black Forest," "The Misty Isles of Scotland," "La Belle France," "Biblical Treasures of Turkey," "Japan - The 21st Century" and "Along the Great Smoky Mountains."
